How to Put On an Adult DiaperUpdated 10 months ago

Below are step-by-step guides on how to put an adult diaper on yourself and how to put an adult diaper on someone else.

How to Put On an Adult Diaper

How to Put an Adult Diaper on Yourself

Step 1:

Softly fold the brief lengthways with the back-sheet facing outwards. Do not create a hard crease.
Do not touch the inside of the brief to avoid contamination.
Step 2:

Pass the folded adult diaper between your legs from front to back. The narrow portion should be between your legs.
Step 3:

Pull out the brief horizontally at the front and shape it so you are fully covered.
Step 4:

Pull out the back of the brief horizontally to cover your bottom. Make sure it fits snuggly into the groin area with the back-sheet turned outwards.
Step 5:

Secure bottom tapes on both sides of the adult diaper. It may be helpful to angle the tapes slightly upwards to improve the fit around the legs. Alternatively, angling the bottom tapes downward will help to better secure your waist.
Step 6:

Form a pleat in the band of the brief.
Step 7:

Secure the top tapes angled downwards over the pleat.
Step 8:

Make sure the edges of the adult diaper ease into the groin area with the back-sheet turned away from the skin. Make sure the edges around your legs are not going to chafe or cause skin irritation. Fold over any edges that seem like they will cause discomfort while wearing the adult diaper.

How to Put an Adult Diaper on Someone Else

Step 1:

Fold the adult diaper lengthways with the back-sheet facing outwards.
Do not touch the inside of the brief.
Step 2:

Place the individual on their side. Pull the adult diaper between their legs from the front to the back.
Step 3:

Fan out the rear end of the brief so the person's bottom is fully covered.
Step 4:

Place the individual on their back. Fan out the front of the brief, creating a channel shape between the legs. Make sure the adult diaper is not folded or crunched up between their legs.
Step 5:

Fit bottom tapes on both sides for a snug yet comfortable fit. Try angling the tapes upwards to a more secure fit.
Step 6:

Form a pleat in the band of the adult diaper.
Step 7:

Fix top tapes angled downwards over the pleat to properly secure the brief. The adult diaper should be snug-fitting, but not too tight or uncomfortable.
Step 8:

Make sure the edges of the adult diaper ease into the groin area with the back-sheet turned away from the skin. Make sure the elastics are sitting where they should be and that the brief is not cutting into the person's waist or legs.
